It caused a lot of frustrations until I located the ProgramData folder and I know others who also experienced this. Instead of logging that character out and back in just to disable it, ESO has made it easy by showing the add-ons in-game. My game will sometimes alternate between the two addon locations, so for the ease of things I now have two ESO profiles in Minion now I keep identical to easily update both places. The ProgramData folder is invisible, so you would have to be able to view hidden folders to locate it. You are likely to find a new folder in "C:/ProgramData/ElderScrollsOnline/live" i am having to reinstall the addons with minion or manually but they are appearing in game through the above method 1.2.3.

i have the same folder in the programdata/ and why im unsure as to why i just directed minion to scan that way. only time i seen it mentioned but i have this folder too. ive been digging around all day and just came across this.
